Part of the Controlled Solutions Group, Controlled Guarding Solutions (CGS) is the leading provider of security services and personnel to the sports, leisure and entertainment industry.

However, the company boasts a number of non sporting or entertainments clients on its extensive and varied portfolio, many of which are well known international brand names.

The company was incorporated in 1989 as Special Projects Security Limited. It was expanded and re-branded in 2002 to meet the ever changing security needs of the 21st century.

With offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham and London, England CGS employs over 200 full time, fully trained and licensed security personnel nationally, supported 'in the field' by a full administrative back up team.

The directors of the company (which is wholly and privately owned) are former members of the British Police and Special Forces Military, and remain at the forefront of operations and development on a day to day basis.
